The 12-month home price average continues upward gradually

The average home price continues to increase each month in Red Deer and in the main chart above you can see the month-to-month average price line compared to the 12-month average. The month-to-month average will always vary but the 12-month line gives a better view of which direction prices are trending.

The 12-month average could increase again by the end of September because last September’s average was below $300,000.

The September average would have to be lower than $298,918 to draw the 12-month average down.
